What's different about Us?

Our mission statement: "To make classical music relevant in today's society through awareness, understanding and true enjoyment"

At our events, we hope people will meet new friends; we create time and provide drinks at the events to facilitate this

We believe that musicians and audiences should interact more, and hope our brief talks about the pieces being performed, as well as our meeting you before and after performances, helps you to learn more about us and us about you

We are in the process of creating an online community to allow people to share thoughts about music in general and also about Realm of Music events. This is another forum in which you can give us feedback which will help us make Realm of Music more relevant to you.

We are building an active community of musicians and professionals from other fields such as business to help make our vision real.

We believe that for Realm of Music to work in today's society, the musicians need to work together with professionals from other fields very closely to tailor the events to the real audience.

Too often, musicians put on performances geared to other musicians' tastes and level of understanding, forgetting that the majority of the audience will be non-musicians (albeit descerning and highly educated people). We don't believe in dumbing-down; simply presenting with care, thought, and fantasy!
