Picture Gallery -- An Arabian NightOur Arabian Night event took place in one of the most beautiful, if bizarre houses in London. Leighton House is now a museum dedicated to the memory of Lord Leighton, the 19th century artist who had an obsession with all things Arabian. His house is a tribute to the sumptuous art of the Islamic culture - from the wall mosaics to the indoor fountain and floor tilings. It was in this wonderfully atmospheric setting that we revelled in the sensual music of the Islamic Moors of Spain. The Citizens Foundation with which we were working on this event provided delcicious 'mocktails' and beautiful shawls and pashminas imported directly from Pakistan added a fabulous flair of colour and great bargains for those who bought them!
