A New Concept in Musical Enjoyment

Our mission statement: "To help classical music be an integral part today's society through awareness, understanding and true enjoyment"

Realm of Music was created to deliver fun and stimulating musical experiences to discriminating new audiences. The events described in these pages aspire to unite engaging social occasions with quality, fascinating performances of baroque music on period instruments, supplemented with fine food and wine, all in beautiful, historic venues appropriate to the music.

Our name, "Realm of Music", reflects our desire to help you escape from the pressures and preoccupations of day to day life, and enter a realm of music, in which you can regain perspective on what's really important.

We believe concert going can be a lot more relevant and enjoyable than it is, especially for those with busy careers and those who are relatively new to music. Listening to music should be enjoyable, not intimidating, and we hope that our program selections and unique support materials (listening cards, web site listening guides, and Palm Pilot versions) will help you understand and enjoy the music, to whatever degree of detail your experience or mood takes you.
